School council elections operate every year and are finalised by March 31st. Look out for a ballot from your child's school in early February. if you are elected to the school council the regional office offers training for parent and community members every year in April and May. This training is free and is conducted after working hours usually running as four sessions from 7 to 9pm. Details of this program are below.

This training is advertised to schools in term one. Ask your Principal to provide details of this training to your council once it has been advertised.
