Structured Workplace Learning
Arrangement forms and guidelines
Work Experience
Work experience is the short term placement of secondary school students with “host” employers, to provide insights into the industry and the work place in which they are located. Students are placed with employers primarily to observe and learn.
Structured workplace learning is on the job training during which a student is expected to master a set of skills or competencies, related to a course accredited by the Victorian
Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA). These courses are generally Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs undertaken by Victorian Certificate of Education
(VCE) or Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) students. |
