Student Discipline

All Victorian students have the right to work in a secure environment where, without intimidation, bullying or harassment they are able to fully develop their talents, interests and ambitions.  Teachers have a right to expect that they will be able to teach in an orderly and cooperative environment. All people are to be valued and treated with respect. These values underpin the schools code of conduct and should any of these principles be broken or threatened disciplinary action will be pursued by the school. Schools should be seen to behave in a fair and just manner in relation to all students. There are clear protocols around suspensions and expulsions. The process, including the right to appeal, is outlined in Section 6 of the Student Wellbeing Protocols.pdf.
